We had a fantastic visit from His Royal Highness, Prince Andrew on 27th June who said many wonderful things about the school. The event was attended by the Deputy Lieutenant of Enfield and the Mayor as well as the Archdeacon of Hampstead, The Ven. John Hawkins. Also in attendance were leaders from the London Diocese Board, a representative from the Department of Education and from the Education and Skills Funding Agency. Prince Andrew also met headteachers who work in partnership with the school. Prince Andrew attended a briefing to hear about our journey and our work, visited classrooms and saw an assembly that included an extract from our production of Romeo and Juliet. Finally, he unveiled a plaque and gave us some important messages, which we will incorporate into our values. It was a truly inspirational occasion that the children and all of us will remember forever. We are blessed.
A big thank you to all the children and staff who visited the Meridian Café on Wednesday 5th July! Our hosts, Ealshaday and Antony (year 6) Somaya and Soraia (year 5) Sevda and Dzulian (year 4) and Kevani (Year 3), presented themselves well and displayed lovely manners when serving their customers. Those who attended were able to enjoy jam sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, brioche rolls, caramelised biscuits nd a glass of squash. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and should be extremely proud of their achievements. We have raised an amazing £84!! Thank you once again to all the parents who have helped support this event.
