At Meridian Angel Primary School we aim to provide varied after
school experiences, where pupils can enjoy a range of creative,
artistic, and sporting activities, these have included such things as
netball and dance. Extra-curricular activities boost young people's
confidence to interact socially with others; extend their social
networks; and provide them with new skills and abilities. Above all,
they offer an important space to have fun and relax away from the
pressures of schoolwork.
Places at school clubs are booked on a termly basis and paid for via
ParentPay. Parents are notified about which clubs are running each
term. Clubs are run by school staff and mainly take place after
school, although a small number may take place before school or at
lunchtime for example our maths booster group and homework club.
